Upton Board of Library Trustees approves FY '27 budget and annual report. Chair Debbie Amorelli and six other trustees unanimously approved the departmental budget on motion by Judith Katz, seconded by Lauren Fobes. Library Director Matthew Bachtold will update the annual report to include 2025 adult programming information.
Trustees also unanimously approved a new five-member slate for Friends of the Upton Library Town Inc.: President Alice Kellogg, Secretary Meg Halfpenny, Treasurer Tony Adcock, and board members Cindy Plotnicki and Alisa Bernat. The library has switched book suppliers from Baker and Taylor to Ingram and is reviewing potential adjustments to community center room reservation policies.
