Upton Board of Health appoints new chair, approves waste and camp fee increases. The board unanimously appointed member Farrell Jolly-Parks as Chair in a governance rotation. Assistant Public Health Supervisor Matthew Rollins confirmed a six-month WasteZero bag quote valid through fiscal year-end, representing approximately $10,000 in increased costs; the board voted unanimously to proceed.
The board also unanimously adopted camp permitting fees of $100 per week plus $30 for each additional week, mirroring Northbridge's structure. The board established protocols for cyanobacteria testing; the initial $975 kit purchase funded by the Board of Health, with the Lakes/Ponds/Streams Committee assuming responsibility in July.
