Board of Health welcomes new Town Nurse, discusses Title 5 Agent staffing.

Upton Board of Health welcomed new Town Nurse Debra Vescera and unanimously approved prior meeting minutes. Vescera provided an overview of public health standardization initiatives, while the board addressed a proposal from Title 5 Agent Paul McKeon to reduce his schedule to two days per week and work alongside his assistant, granddaughter Chloe Mawn, pending clarification on state requirements. Assistant Public Health Supervisor Matthew Rollins will consult with his predecessor on staffing protocols.

The board tabled a 252 Milford Street request pending additional property details and discussed cyanobacteria testing protocols, with Rollins tasked to contact Wayland and Worcester experts for guidance before the next meeting.
