Upton Conservation Commission approves conditions for East Street septic project. At its January 14 meeting, the Commission issued an Order of Conditions for a septic system installation within wetland buffer at Lot 11b East Street, with plans to show construction entrance and area compliance under 20,000 square feet. The Commission approved Forest Heights Conservation Restriction wording changes with four votes in favor and three abstentions from Vice Chair Mike Penko, Chair Christine Scott (both citing Metacomet Land Trust affiliations), and member Marcella Stasa (as abutter), and recommended town acceptance of an Adams Street property donation while approving $75,000 in conservation funding for trail bridge construction and tree removal.
