Community Preservation Committee approves Pratt Pond study voucher

Upton Community Preservation Committee schedules April meeting to prepare May annual hearings. Chair Mike Penko reported that contractor submittals for the Pratt and Mill Pond Management Plan are under review, with water quality samples showing high dissolved oxygen levels, and the committee unanimously approved a TRC voucher for the study. The first CPC distribution of 15 percent is expected shortly.

Four funded projects—Robertson Trail Bridge, Town Hall Renovations, Howarth Glen Boardwalk Rehabilitation, and Nipmuc Field Improvements—are moving forward, with the committee to determine which portions of the Nipmuc project can be covered by CPC funding.
