Upton EDC advances parking lot design and schedules MassDOT review. The committee, meeting with four of seven members present, heard from Town Planner Michael Antonellis that a MassDOT 75 percent design review will be held February 4 at the Community Center, and Allen Engineering has been hired to execute Concept D for a Grove Street parking lot. Committee members reviewed a Stantec Infrastructure Analysis and discussed enhancing mapping of infrastructure needs.
Eugene Bernat urged the committee to recenter goals as it balances multiple focus projects, while the group expressed support for a multi-board meeting being arranged by Select Board Chair Laura Hebb for March.
