Upton Finance Committee approves $31.7 million line-item budget for fiscal year 2027. Chair Paul Flaherty led unanimous approval of the general budget of $29,163,658, while Police and Town Clerk line items of $2,388,075 and $133,842 passed with majority support as Finance Committee Co-Chair Stephen Bern abstained on both. The total budget reflects a $142,284 increase to Blue Valley Vocational School, a $42,423 decrease to Norfolk Agricultural High School based on revised student-enrollment projections, and a $40,000 Wage Contingency allocation for anticipated staffing changes.
