Finance Committee reviews fall warrant articles
The Finance Committee reviewed 14 draft warrant articles for a November 12 Special Town Meeting. Jointly with the Select Board, the committee removed three articles (CPA-MURSD Fields, Police Accreditation, and Tax Deferral Article) and modified the FY27 Operating Budget proposal downward.

UPTON — The Finance Committee reviewed 14 draft warrant articles for a November 12 Special Town Meeting. Jointly with the Select Board, the committee removed three articles (CPA-MURSD Fields, Police Accreditation, and Tax Deferral Article) and modified the FY27 Operating Budget proposal downward. Co-chair Stephen M.
Bern stated the committee intends to vote on warrant articles with funding options from Free Cash or Stabilization. A subsequent meeting will be scheduled before the Special Town Meeting for the committee to formally vote on warrant recommendations.
