Library Board approves routine matters, discusses programs

UPTON — The Upton Town Library Board of Trustees unanimously approved routine monthly matters at its February meeting. The board approved prior-month minutes, monthly vouchers, and financial reports. Director Matthew Bachtold reported that digital platform circulation increased in January compared to previous months and was higher than the same month last year.

The director is developing adult programming, including volunteer-led conversational English sessions. Three board seats expire in 2026, with Debbie Amorelli, Charlotte Carr, and Joseph Poirier eligible for reelection.
