Planning Board continues six development hearings

Upton Planning Board advanced six development applications without substantive votes Tuesday. The board continued hearings on a 17-lot subdivision at East St Estates, a 4-lot subdivision at 130 South St with a revised plan addressing pipe coverage issues, and a senior housing development at 0 Mechanic St that will donate 7.5 acres for conservation abutting Pixie's Park. A mixed-use site plan, a five-apartment site plan, and a large-scale solar installation were also continued to future meetings.

Chair Tom Davidson expressed concerns about retaining wall longevity at East St Estates. The board appointed Katherine Robertson to the Capital Budget Committee by unanimous voice vote.
