Upton Capital Budget Committee approves four capital projects for May Town Meeting. The committee, chaired by Dan Lazarz with members Katherine Robertson, Justin Pollard, Lyn Haggerty, and newest member Sophia Studley present, unanimously approved $600,000 for road construction, $289,000 for fire station drainage repair, $105,768 for police vehicle replacement, and $65,000 for Lucas device replacement. The committee deferred consideration of a $17 million Department of Public Works expansion and renovation project pending construction documentation review.
