Upton Planning Board advances solar and ADU bylaws toward spring town meeting. Town Planner Mike Antonellis presented a draft bylaw regulating ground-mounted solar systems as an accessory use, requiring Site Plan Approval through the Planning Board to address recent problems. The Board also discussed a proposed amendment to the ADU bylaw to allow existing units to be grandfathered into new regulations.
The Planning Board unanimously recommended that the Town not purchase the Kelly Family Trust property at 0 East Street per Chapter 61A evaluation.
