UPTON — Zoning Board unanimously approved a Special Permit for a car port at 15 Westboro Road despite setback non-compliance. The Zoning Board of Appeals voted 5-0 to permit Lucas Walton to construct a lean-to style car port in the Agricultural Residential zone, even though the structure exceeded the required 30-foot setback. In separate action, the board voted 5-0 to continue the Special Permit hearing for Brian LeSuer's application for two banners at 1 Church Street to October 21, 2026, directing him to resubmit as a variance since the proposed banners exceeded zoning bylaws' maximum sign size.
