Upton Community Preservation Committee approves study payment, updates capital projects. The committee unanimously approved the February 4 meeting minutes and voted to pay TRC for the Pratt and Mill Pond management study. Chair Mike Penko reported the first 15 percent Community Preservation Act distribution is forthcoming.
Several funded projects including Robertson Trail Bridge improvements and Howarth Glen Boardwalk Rehabilitation remain on hold pending spring conditions. DPW Director Dennis Westgate recommended the CPC submit a bonding article for the first payment toward Town Hall Renovations, expected for the May Annual Town Meeting warrant.
